The Woodshop at Bridge at Bridge Storage Artspace & Cafe is a vital, shared working environment, where carpenters, wood artists, and craftspeople use serious communal tools to create. This is an 1100-square-foot space that has natural lighting and excellent ventilation.
This space is accessible to Makers at Bridge who have completed certification.
In order to use the woodshop makers must be certified with a Bridge trainer. We are currently offering certifications every second Wednesday of the month from 12:30 pm to 2:45 pm. Call today to reserve one of the four spots available.

When visiting Bridge Woodshop, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes, such as boots or sneakers. Opt for long pants and avoid loose or baggy clothing. Please tie back long hair and leave dangly jewelry at home. It’s important to note that our woodshop can be sweaty and dusty in the summer and dusty and cold in the winter, so please dress accordingly. Woodworking is hard work, but at Bridge, we prioritize your comfort and safety.

While Bridge provides workbenches with vises and small electrical tools like sanders and drills, we recommend members bring their own hand tools, such as hand planes and chisels. Maintaining a sharp edge on hand tools is crucial for woodworking, and we encourage our members to take responsibility for the upkeep of their personal tools.
